Intensity Hoops develops players through honest coaching and real competition. Parents play a real part in that environment — this Code sets what we expect from you as a member of our program.
1. At Practices & Games
- Support all players, not only your own — the team comes first.
- Let coaches coach. Do not instruct players from the sideline or contradict a coach's direction during play.
- Respect officials' decisions. Disagreement with a call is never a reason for confrontation.
- No abusive language, taunting, or confrontation directed at officials, coaches, players, or other spectators, at Intensity Hoops or opposing teams.
2. Communication
- Raise concerns about coaching decisions, playing time, or team matters through the process in our Concern or Dispute Resolution Policy — not in the moment, at practice or a game, and not in front of athletes.
- Communicate with coaches and staff through official channels, per our Digital Communications Media Policy.
3. Commitment
Registering a player with Intensity Hoops is a commitment to the team for the season. We ask parents to support consistent attendance and communicate early with the coaching staff about any conflicts.
4. Travel
Our Club Team Travel Policy applies to every family on a traveling team, including curfews, rooming rules, and conduct expectations for parents attending.
5. Respecting Other Families
Be mindful of other athletes' and families' privacy — including when sharing your own photos or video from Intensity Hoops events, per our Digital Communications Media Policy.
Consequences
A serious or repeated breach of this Code may result in a warning, a required conversation with club leadership, removal from a specific event, or — in serious cases — removal of the athlete from the program, at Intensity Hoops' discretion.
